What Does Fostering Entail?

We frequently take in medical cases who need a quiet, caring home to recover. If you have experience with animal medical care — or simply the patience and love to help — fostering a medical case is one of the most impactful things you can do.

What You Provide

• A safe, loving temporary home for a dog or cat in need

• Basic daily care — feeding, exercise, and plenty of love

• Updates and photos to help us find them their forever home

• For those comfortable with it: help nursing medical cases back to health — some of our animals come to us needing extra TLC, and fosters with medical experience or a big heart make a huge difference

What We Provide

• All food, supplies, and medical care

• 24/7 support from our team

• Training resources as needed

• Regular adoption events and fundraisers to actively help get your foster pet adopted — you're never waiting and wondering

The Commitment

• Fostering can range from a couple of weeks to a few months, depending on medical needs and how quickly your foster pet finds their forever home

• We work with your schedule and household to find the right match

• Dogs and cats available depending on your preference
